Two goats came face to face while crossing a narrow bridge. "Let me pass," requested one of them. "Never, you get out of my way," retorted the other. Unable to reach a compromise they charged at each other. In the ensuing scuffle they lost their balance and fell into the stream down below. The swift currents carried them away to their ultimate death.
The scene was repeated a few days later. Both these goats were wise and patient. They made way for each other to cross the narrow bridge. By a sensible compromise both reached their destination safely.
Moral -Better bend than break.
