Short Story: Different

As usual, Jarwo always tell a lot of stories every time he had a chance to see Kodrat. This time it’s about Lani, the girl-next-door that he had crush on.
“I’m confused, Drat. Lani’s playing hard to get. Sometimes she was extremely attentive but in other time she just acted like I didn’t exist.”

“Oh come on, don’t force it! You and Lani have different beliefs anyway.”
“What is the different? We have the same religion. We’re both Islam. We also have the same race.”
“The different is very clear. You believe that she loves you but in other way she doesn’t!”
“Damn! I thought you were serious.”
“I was serious. Is belief just refers to religion?”
Jarwo lost his words. Kodrat smiled. He knew that Jarwo always wake after dawn.
